Such a backwards ruling 🤦♂️, a friend told me that women are considered second class citizens. I didn’t want to believe it but articles like this make me believe otherwise 😣
People are getting angry about this decision, but by Japan standards this a big win for the metoo movement here.
This guy was Abe’s official biographer and the order to drop the charges against him likely came from way up high. She refused to be silenced. He sued, she won. He appealed all the way up to the supreme court, her win was upheld.
Him winning back a little money on a minor detail is like Amber Heard winning a little money back in the Jonny Depp case. It’s a consolation prize for what is ultimately still a big win for the other party.
