Looking for a car service or taxi option to go from airport to hotel in Hirakata with 3 adults and 3 suitcases. Looks like some of the car services want a Japanese phone number.
We do have a JR rail pass and looks as if that would be the cheapest but unsure of the large luggage situation if it would be too much of a hassle.

Eyeballing it, I’d guess that will cost about 12000 JPY for a taxi and, if it’s not rush hour, you might cut your travel time in half. That said, one piece of luggage is for me very manageable on public transport; if I were being cost conscious and didn’t mind the extra half hour of being on trains, I’d just pay the 800 JPY pp and do public transport.
You should have no trouble waiting in the taxi line at Itami and hailing a cab. It’s a good mid-sized airport.
