  1. Locker space is sparse in Shinjuku station (try 3rd floor if you do go) you can drop your bags at the hotel before you check-in, that’s usually the best option as they may even put your bags in your room when you arrive.

  2. good luck finding a free luggage locker at shinjuku station. if this is your first time there you will be searching for a while. might as well just drop it off at your hotel. most take it before you check in.

  3. Instead of Shibuya Sky, which will be a waste of money if it’s cloudy or rainy, go to the observation deck of the Tokyo Metropolitan Building, which is roofed and free. It’s about 300 or 400 meters from Shinjuku Station.

The Hachiko Statue is at the Shibuya Crossing, and you can take it all in in maybe 10 minutes (if you’re wanting to take photographs). If you’re not, you can simply walk north from Shibuya Station and get to Harajuku and Omote Sando. There’s a train at Harajuku that’ll get you back to Shinjuku in 10 minutes or so, but you can just continue walking for a while and arrive there.

  4. For teamlab you need a ticket in advance, i was today without and all tickets where sold out.

Also really nice are small worlds nearby.

  5. Good, sensible suggestions on your luggage. Great to see an itinerary that’s not too packed and leaves room for exploring. My only suggestion would be to skip Yokahama (other than a few attractions I don’t think it’s worth it for a short trip) and spend that day in Shimokitazawa, where you’ll get a totally different vibe from the rest of your itinerary. If you choose to go there for half a day, choose the second half any enjoy the pretty laid back nightlife.
