hi so I’m applying for a WHV in Canada (Van) next month and one of the things the embassy says to have included in the application is a note from a physician stating that I am in good health.
so I was wondering if I need to have a special immigration medical exam done for this or if it’s just a generic physical exam that needs to be done. I’m just a little confused bc I went to a walk-in to try and get this done but they told me I had to go to a specific IRCC doctor to get checked.

When I did my working holiday a very long time ago I went to my family doctor and asked for a letter. She was very confused about what I wanted, and I didn’t really have any further information to give her. So she did a quick mole check and wrote a letter saying that I didn’t suffer from any chronic conditions and she found nothing during a physical examination that required immediate attention.
I went to a walk-in clinic years ago and just asked for a note. Might be worth trying a different clinic
