i would like you guys opinions / recommendations about the skincare and/or makeup products here in japan !
for context: i have a weird oily/dry combo skin. sometimes my chin area can be dry or oily. around my nose is oily. i have eyebags/dark circles (pain) and then the space between my eyebrows is oily whilst my forehead can get dry.
i prefer not to do *really* high end things but not cheap either. like what brands are considered “drugstore” brands ?? i honestly am in need for skincare and/or makeup (in r.e.m. beauty i’m a medium 6 W and a 20 light medium fit me ! finishing powder)

Honestly if you have a lot of natural oils you just need to do a double cleansing with an oil cleanser followed by a regular face scrub.
Then I suggest retinol-based gel for the dark circles, creams are okay but its better in a gel form for me. [https://amzn.asia/d/htVDlTT](https://amzn.asia/d/htVDlTT) isnt too powerful so if youre using a retinol product for the first time it shouldnt cause you to purge heavily, limiting spot outbreaks and its cheap too.
After that dries, I use a vitamin c moistuizer, its the yellow bottle you’ll see in every single drug store (Melano CC), I suggest their UV version so you dont need to use sun screen as well as that. [https://amzn.asia/d/2xs4uWQ](https://amzn.asia/d/2xs4uWQ)
For reference, I am a guy so it might not be as effective for women but I have a pretty oily nose but dry cheeks and forehead, so I have a similar issue.
Avoid the makeup for a while if you can though, give your skin some time to relax, or steam your face over a bowl of hot water next time you have a bit of spare time to relax.

For drugstore brands, Perfect Whip facial cleanser is pretty great and it’s cheap. The Gokujyun series is good too.
