How to use a custom Japanese font in the browser?

Hi,

I would like to use a custom font, such as this one: [https://fontplus.jp/font-list/slumpstd-db](https://fontplus.jp/font-list/slumpstd-db) while surfing the internet, particularly in Chrome and reading text-heavy sites such as Wikipedia.

Is this possible? I live in the United States, and I don’t mind paying for the font. But I’m not sure how to pay or how to get the browser to use the font and it seems like fonts in general are super strict and licensed in East Asian languages.

This is also the font used in a lot of video games like Persona 5 and Yokai Watch.

Thanks!
