So my husband and I have been going through a really difficult time. Yesterday I was manic and called the TELL hotline and it helped a lot. I think it would help my husband a lot as well to be able to unload is mental burden with a safe person. Is there hotline similar to TELL that Japanese can call?
Please don’t say anything rude like he’s Japanese he should know how to find it better than us or whatever. You guys know how mental health is treated here

I’m sorry to hear about your circumstances.
Honestly, I don’t know of any services. However, TELL advertises itself as an English speaking helpline, if your husband speaks English well enough then he can make use of the service. If not, it might be worth giving them a shout and asking them if they know of any Japanese services.
Hope things get better for you both in the future.

Tell also seem to offer Japanese support:

It’s on their website, under the counselling submenu.
On TELL’s website there’s a directory of other support groups in Japan, most of which look Japanese-run.
A lot looked very niche and many were specific to women, but maybe there are some that fit your needs.

Maybe the TELL people could recommend a Japanese equivalent?
That sounds like a question TELL should be able to answer.
A friend of mine was a volunteer for TELL. 25% of the calls came from Japanese foreigner marriages and Japanese people called all the time because they did not want to discuss mental health issues with another Japanese person. Your husband can call Tell.
