been using UQ wimax since I arrived here and it was enough at that time but ever since I bought a laptop I always need to restart the router every 5-10mins for 2-3 times as it suddenly just has no internet connection all the time. long story short, I am now planning to change my ISP and thinking of getting a hikari plan.
my apartment(tokyo) has AU hikari line installed already so I’m hoping for some recommendations on which company/provider to get. I want something with a really good price-quality ratio.
basically I just want a stable and reliable internet connection even with multiple devices connecting and in which I can play(Valorant) with good ping. I don’t need super fast speeds like 10Gbps or anything. I appreciate any suggestions, thanks!

https://kddi-hikari.com/provider/ seems to list asahi-net so you might as well go with that. More details here: https://www.reddit.com/r/japanlife/wiki/internet
No idea why you’re having trouble with having to restart stuff every few minutes, that’s definitely not “usual”.
I’ve been using OCN hikari flets since 15 years ago. Never had any problem.
