I just got this extension after seeing someone mention it on this sub. That image is what it is showing as,. I’m relatively certain that it wasn’t designed to look like you’re peering through a crack in the door, so can someone tell me what the 地獄 is going on?

Had the same issue, I had to roll back a windows update and it fixed the problem. Don’t know if your on windows but if you are and u did an update maybe try that?
I have it like this since a few months. Just got used to it.
The Developer of Yomichan has discontinued development, but there is a [fork](https://github.com/themoeway/yomitan). There the problem is fixed (although for now a developmental build needs to be installed)
Yomichan is still usable in this state. If you use Google Chrome, I think the 3 main pages in that menu were:
1. **Settings (Cog Wheel):** chrome-extension://ogmnaimimemjmbakcfefmnahgdfhfami/settings.html (Note that you can also access Settings by right clicking the Yomichan icon, then going to options)
2. **Search (Magnifying Glass):** chrome-extension://ogmnaimimemjmbakcfefmnahgdfhfami/search.html
3. **Info (Question Mark):** chrome-extension://ogmnaimimemjmbakcfefmnahgdfhfami/info.html
4. **Welcome:** chrome-extension://ogmnaimimemjmbakcfefmnahgdfhfami/welcome.html
