It also looks really poorly made and immaturely conceptualized, so there’s that..
Looking good! Curious, did the chef talk to you before or during the service to see what you like and did they customize based on your feedback?
I’m going to NYC this weekend, wondering if this is an omakase or a dressed up expensive sushi combo. Did every guest get the same pieces?
Ugh I’m moist now
turn your flash off, my friend
I feel like on the NYC subreddits this place gets trashed but honestly this looks pretty good to me. Might give it a try one day soon!
Too expensive

Yeah, this is the exact kind of sushi I hate the most. Expensive sounding ingredients that you can’t taste because they’re covered up with random toppings that are instagrammable and too heavily flavored
Wish all these pics came with details such as fish, plus whatever seasoning, sauce, marinade, herb, etc. I wanna gussy up my restaurant take home sushi which while the fish is good, it’s just soy sauce and Spicy Mayo. Be nice to have an at-home lane between regular or takeout sushi and Omakase

That looks incredible for $100.
100 bucks? Looks great.
Looks like good fish, so 100$ is a good deal.
