I moved my desk 90 degrees in my room so I have better access to my window. I have a standing desk and for my monitor I’m using a tension rod + monitor arm so it was quite an undertaking. Little bit of cable management to give it a somewhat clean look. I’m happy with the result, but not as happy to post it here as y’all will probably have a hundred things to say about it lol.
We actually got Killers of the Flower Moon at the same time as the rest of the world and it was great.
Sidenote, it’s pretty striking just how many people are out and about now. Everywhere is swamped on weekends.
I found the most amazing leather jacket in my local thrift for only 3,300 yen. Perks of living in an inaka <3 Also, yay fall weather!
I invited my student hiking since we’re stuck at the lab over the weekend and nobody was around, and now I think he’ll never trust me with an outdoor activity again. The weather was beautiful for it though. You can see Tokyo with the Sky Tree prominent in the distance in the attached pic.
Went into Tokyo for an idol event yesterday, had a great time, saw a fight break out in the pit right in front of me, good times were had by all. Except the guys that got thrown out for fighting, maybe not them.
