We live in Fussa (there isn’t a lot around here) and I’m looking for a Thai Boxing gym and ideally a squash court near here.
I know there’s some squash places in Tokyo, but depending on where they are, they’re up to 2 hours by train from us. Not exactly ideal for a quick round of squash.
I’m also looking to pick up my Thai Boxing again, I know it’s a rather specific one, but does anyone know any gyms near Tachikawa?
I’m honestly just really trying to get back into routine trainings.
Thanks in advance!

I usually 見物 / 体験 around and see what’s available on gmaps.
If you aren’t willing to make the trek out to a legit proper thai boxing gym you should just find the closest thing near you that can give you a good workout.
I used to train at a proper fight gym after work that was a little further out and I only ended up going like twice a week because of how inconvenient it was. During covid I switched to a nearby casual fitness kickboxing gym 5 minutes away and could go in like 4 times a week at least.
Really depends on your dedication and willingness to commute.
Most memberships are month to month, I’d suggest after you find a gym you like, go until you feel like you aren’t learning anymore, and then switch.
P.s. Also it’s good to chat up other classmates that know what they’re doing, they most likely have already checked out all the gyms around that area and know which ones are good or not. I do this for every city I live in for a while.
I can’t find either of them in Tachikawa. But I found both in Hachioji.
Central Sports has a squash court in some of their gyms. The Hachioji gym has it although the Fussa Central does not.

For Muay Thai, there is [a gym in Hachioji](https://shobukaigym.com/), too.
