I went to morning walk today at a small garden and i saw a wheelchair japanese boy struggling to move alone( I don’t see any of family member). Since the road is very bumpy, he tumble on the street(luckily car slow down at that time) and got stuck a few time.
I went to help him and ask about his family. He said’ mom ask me to buy fish food at nearest supermarket’. So i assume his mom at the garden pond and waiting for him to buy fish food. I pushed the wheelchair to the supermarket and helped him to find fish food. The twist was the mother appeared to be in supermarket with another child. She said thank you and apologized to me.i just leave him there and continue my morning walk until reality hits me.
Im so lucky that the mother do not call the police or make any scene. She can call the police on me on attempted of kidnapping and no one will believe me.she must be freaked out that her son with stranger and on top of that, a foreigner.
p/s i live in a small town. A lot of people here never have interaction with foreigner.

What a strange situation… why would the mom ask her kid to do that if she was already at the supermarket?
You tried to kidnap a child in a small town by wheeling him into a supermarket? This doesn’t sound like a believable story to me.
One of the big learnings I got from my friends here is “don’t get involved” even if you have good intentions. The law here is something else
