  1. Bryan when he sees Okada come Wednesday “it smell like bitch in here” (specifically like one I made tap out with a broken freaking arm; now Okada knows how Kaito Kiyomiya felt).

  2. Jags are generally seen as a Super Bowl contender this season, i hope that means Okada on TV every time

  3. I was in bathroom when they announced this match. I’m like did this mfer just say okada lol. Was at disbelief at first

  4. This is such a waste of okada long term. Anyone who disagrees please answer this very simple question.

If next year going into the g1 okada or naito is not the champion please list the wrestlers njpw would be comfortable maineventing the Tokyo dome.

Cause tanahashi who is a literal broken down wreck is probably winning it if okada and naito both go down with iniuries. The need to rebuild the deck of Japanese mainevent talent matters vastly more than dream matches.

  5. Well, given that OC is part of Best Friends, and Best Friends is still technically part of CHAOS, that makes OC also technically part of CHAOS, thus makes sense he and Okada are a team.

Not surprised of some here that spits on this because it’s AEW. But reminder that a lot of the New Japan talent backstage are really interested in working with OC in some form, one of them being Shibata. OC has gained a reputation of being a really great worker in the ring, as well as a producer backstage (he was the one behind Ricky Starks and Big Bill as a tag team).

Obviously with Danielson involved, this sets up for a rematch between the two that *may* happen at the Tokyo Dome (emphasis on ‘may’ as we are not sure at this time if TK would allow Danielson to wrestle in Japan, let alone events like Wrestle Kingdom). My guess is if that’s the case, and ZSJ wants his rematch on British soil, that would probably be on either the next Royal Quest or All In ’24.

Another potential being seen here is OC and Okada as a tag team. If they do well and reception to the two is highly positive, it may be possible OC and Okada would work together for this year’s World Tag League.

Also, this marks the first time Okada wrestles on Dynamite, and the first time to wrestle on TV since the old TNA days (btw, Impact is bringing back the TNA name in 2024).

  6. I honestly don’t get why ppl are still into Cassidy this hard. In terms of this match he’s no question the weakest link. The whole gimmick feels played. The majority of his moves rely on the opponent doing most of the work. Him with that finisher is pure Nonsense.

Someone actually said “This” is their dream match. I can understand liking a wrestling for the gimmick/persona, but if you’re honestly trying to tell me his wrestling is some of the best the company has to offer; or is on par with these other 3, then that’s straight Cap. None of this “he’s trying his best/for his age” stuff. His wrestling’s wack.

  7. I love how Okada making his dynamite in ring debut was so fucking nonchalant. Someone had to have told Okada that impact is TNA again lol

  8. I’m super glad Claudio’s in there too. I mean, odds are, he’s eating the pin (Danielson’s generous but I don’t think he eats a pin here), but it’s nice to see him get a taste of Okada.

  9. Oh yeah, I keep forgetting Orange Cassidy is a CHAOS member. And I thought this was photoshop. Looks like a good tag match
