Tohoku University FGL Program

I am planning on applying for the IMAC-U FGL program at Tohoku University, but I just wanted to see if anybody has any experiences with the program themselves. Another thing I would like to know is if its possible to apply for the symphony orchestra at Tohoku University while being an FGL student because I would like to continue playing my violin in an ensemble. Also, if anybody has gotten in, I would love to see what you wrote for the statement of reasons for applying that they require; I would just like to compare what I have currently.
