Universal Studios Japan – I’ve never been there but was asked to take a couple people there this Thursday or Friday. One adult and a 11 year old. Any tips? Do we need to get tickets in advance? Some special pass or something? (For it to be a decent experience. I mainly worry about the kid and spending the whole day in line for attractions).
I do realize it’s only a couple days left but I hope we’re not too late.
Why is talking to oneself in public so common here? It’s somewhat unsettling.
How to enter and socialize in a bar, izakaya, or such with random people in an easy way? Especially as foreigners (Beside The Hub anyway, it’s already common knowledge)
I’m a quite shy and awkward person, and I know that many bars are more into the “intimate” and “patrons-oriented” that if someone enters randomly without being introduced by one of the patrons/usuals it’s gonna be that “Who the hell are you?” moment.
Anyway my intention is simply just to socialize and have new friends/connections, been feeling lonely with less social interactions lately. Even having small random talks is okay for me, so I think doing that with drinks or snacks on the side would work.
Halloween Shibuya, thoughts?
Can a red letter pack plus be signed for / collected by someone other than the addressee?
Need to cancel my apartment contract. How do I give notice? Letter, mail, call? In person?
Recently came across the type C to type A power adaptor in Donki, which has “unusable in Japan” written on. Technically speaking, it should work, because its just a power adaptor, right?
Also, they are really cheap compared to the other available options. So, can I actually use them in Japan? And why the “unusable in Japan” mark on them?
