How about raising the national minimum wage to force companies to hike wages across the board?
This will look like this:
1. Take a million years to come into force
2. Will require some shitty documentation and waiting process, maybe
3. There will be a tax hike elsewhere like consumption tax or things will just get more expensive.
4. Even if the above don’t happen, the total we save will be fuck all anyway
