Did Ritz Japan change their “cheese sando” recipe?

Picked [these](https://ibb.co/q1MHgTn) up yesterday from a generic supa. Not only are they regular size instead the mini that I knew, they also tasted… off and super artificial, which I understand is what they are but…

They used to be one of my favorites, both in Japan and elsewhere. Granted I haven’t had them in a couple of years. I know companies like to mess with recipes overseas and stuff, but is it me or Ritz…

Anyone else noticed?

  1. They changed the recipe for the Ritz cracker a few years ago and it’s not as good as it used to be, IMO.

  2. Nabisco has been changing recipes, decreasing quantities inside of the packaging, and has also moved their manufacturing to China (or at least they did for Oreos, I haven’t checked the rest)

I will be sticking with YBC.

  3. I bought a pack and it was ‘uni’. flavored … most disgusting thing I’ve ever ate

  4. I used to love the standard cracker, last week they suddenly became undercooked and sweet…life is cruel

  5. My mother worked in food development for Kraft in the 1980s and this kind of stuff was banned in our house…..

Note that I said food development, because they would hire engineers who say, refined oil or worked on nuclear waste (my mom did both!) disposal to come up with “food.”

I like junk food, but I cannot imagine eating what basically is a ton of chemicals.
