2. Perfect opportunity to ask why he never implemented the Minsk Accords to “protect peace”.

   Japanese students are sometimes, surprisingly well-informed about details of these issues the Western press tends to skirt around.

3. Recognize Luhansk and Donetsk like should have been done 8 years ago, stay out of military alliances that are openly hostile to your neighbors, and then we might have a peace to protect.

4. Some posters here really need to do a little wider reading.

   Have you even seen what Putin’s orcs are doing in Ukraine?!

   Have you seen any of the widely (and independently validated) evidence of crimes against humanity being perpetrated by Russia’s aggression?

   Were you reading when Putin unilaterally annexed Crimea?

   Have you read *anything* of Russian treatment of Ukraine throughout history?

   Zelenskyy is the real deal.

   He is non-political guy swept into a dire situation who has done everything including putting his life and loved ones at risk to defend his country (and broader Europe).

   Ukraine is defending itself valiantly against a Russian self-serving leadership that is hell bent on taking swathes of territory simply to meet it’s greed and addiction to exploiting fossil fuel resources and reinstating soviet style authoritarian control everywhere it reaches.

   The supposed Ukrainian (!?) “rebels” that have been transplanted, propagated and supported by Russia in the Donbass to fight for “independence” are a fiction created by Russia.

   In reality, Russia has treated the actual real Ukrainian (including Russian speaking) people in those regions with utter contempt – bombing, raping and torturing civilians everywhere it has been able to. Now that the fictional pretext for invasion is finished with, Russians are showing their true colours. And it’s completely obvious that Russia is OK with entirely erasing the Donbass populace and landscape – and assimilating the entire region into the “Russian Federation”.

   So what of the Donbass independence now!?
   There’s just ruin, death and suffering.

   Why would Ukraine make a Minsk “agreement” based purely on Putin’s perverse rationale? An agreement at gunpoint with a bunch of mercenary implants who created a fake conflict to fight for a fake independence under a faked Russian land-grab pretext?

   All so Gazprom and Putin and his putrid greedy cartel can take Ukraine’s resources and prevent Europe from finding alternatives to it’s marriage-in-hell relationship based on Euros for Russian “blood oil”.

   Seriously wake up.
