I have one from an old house my parents in law demolished. It is super heavy about 450mm (18 inches) tall, rectangular prism. I often see them out side of homes or on the corner of small roads. If it helps I live in Tokyo. Been asking my Japanese friends and relatives for 15 years.

You haven’t explained what it is. Is it wood? Concrete? Where is it normally?
Without having seen it, my guess would be some kind of boundary marker.
I think it’s better to show its photo.
did you mean to attach a photo buddy
I reckon that it is a rectangular prism. Usually about 450mm long and often seen outside of homes or on the corner of small roads.
(A picture would really help)
I have a theory, during the war, my area that I live wasn’t destroyed, so all the old streets and alleyways remained the same. They were collecting metal from civilians to help in the war effort. Could it be metals that have been melted and poured together to create a large block easy for pick up. The reason I say this is because the pattern on it looks like just a rough looking mold, and same little chips have broken off which I’m 90% sure can’t be rock. And it is heavy AF.
Could it by a stand formerly used for a small ç¥ , later reused as a stand for plants and stuff?
Looks like a stone bollard.
OP you need to stay *away* from that thing man that is a missing piece of Stone Henge and the last time somebody messed around with a missing piece of stone henge an entire generation of American children’s heads were turned into bugs.
