It seems that no matter how hard Japan brainstorms ways to improve their economy, demographics, and social issues, the only thing they keep coming up with is to simply throw money at people.
– Not having kids? Throw money at families who give birth. – People not making their MyNumber cards? Give money to everyone who does it. – Businesses struggling? Throw money at them. – Want to revitalize the country? Give every person some cash.
