Where can I buy fresh raspberries instead of frozen?

I know costco maybe has it, but it requires membership.
Thanks.

  1. Definitely one of the less common fruits in Japan. Besides Costco, the only places I have seen them are in various grocery stores, and sometimes in local farmer markets where the farmers grow them. Both of those only available in season, so the summer time.

  2. I’ve seen them at Bio c Bon.

Alternatively, you can buy a raspberry bush on Rakuten for 500-1000 yen. Pot it up and put it on the balcony, just water it when it needs it and you’ll have raspberries most of summer. Super easy to grow.

  3. Where are you located? Hokkaido has several farms selling fresh berries including raspberries. October is usually the final harvest of the year for them and if you’re lucky you might be able to get your hands on some.

  4. We planted in a pot from a garden center and can coax them after a few years to produce berries for most of the year. Otherwise Costco is hit or miss and more often than not have them

  5. The supermarket in my nearest Aeon Mall sells little boxes of them. I think they may be Driscoll’s. Last time I bought some, they’d gone up from 390 to over 500. I adore raspberries but here the price, lack of quality/quantity and limited availability prevent me from having them much but they’re definitely in my top 2 items that I wish were standard in every store along with “proper” bacon.
