  1. Pretty funny quote, though I am sure some will take it as 100% serious and not part of his character like they did at Forbidden Door when he “owned AEW by wearing a shirt”

And good for Naito lol, he is an all timer

  2. To be clear; the quote in bold is about Danielson, and is based off of Naito having seen him when he briefly worked NJPW in the early 2000s (before Naito had even had his debut match):

    >”Back in the day when he wrestled in NJPW, I’d watch his matches on TV and in the buildings,” “I liked watching him, but I never really felt that I’d like to wrestle him.”

The quote about Naito himself being the best wrestler in the world is unrelated to Bryan. You can’t really tell what was said that prompted Naito to give that quote due to the (shitty and often misleading) way Sports Illustrated writes these articles.

  3. Naito not giving a shit about American wrestling on the same level as MJF not giving a shit about Japanese wrestling is why that’s the #1 AEW vs NJPW match I’ve wanted to see for awhile now (that and they’re two of my favorite wrestlers).

  4. Oh…..man….Naito isn’t better than Okada any day but Bryan’s body do work is by far more momentum than Naito’s.

  5. I don’t know why truth is always treated like it needs to be a headline. We already knew Naito is the best wrestler in the world.

  6. “Danielson focuses too much on giving himself concussions. The true art of pro wrestling is breaking either your own and/or Ibushi’s neck”

  7. Naito should avoid AEW like the plague. That place has not improved a single NJPW guy’s stock except maybe Hangman and Juice.

  8. What happened to Okada? You mean what happened to Bryan right? Everyone else trying to act tough while Bryan lay down like a wuss covering his face.

Dude got hit with one rainmaker and lay in a fetal position like a little bitch. The last time they faced Okada hit a tombstone and Bryan looked like dude was gonna die. Also got his arm broken.

Facing Okada is not good for fragile Danielson’s health
