Hi, i have less than 6 months in the country and i requested a jp bank account, i got the cash card and activated the account through my phone number, also was able to access yuucho direct but i cannot find a way to deposit money from my foreign bank (actually payoneer).
Do anyone knows how to do this and if there are requirements, which ones?

We use WISE, very good rates and fees.
They even have a card you can get sent, to use nearly anywhere in the world.

I didn’t have to pay for a sign up or anything, it was super easy. Made an account, entered the typical details for a transfer and done. Our transfers now go through in like 5 minutes.
(We use wise in between my bank from abroad and my partners JPost Bank)
Japanpost doesn’t allow you to receive money from overseas for the 6 months after opening.
Back then I just use whatever overseas debit card I have and use it on ATM.
