[Here’s a video uploaded a few hours ago. the “cancelled Shibuya Halloween” looks great. people are having fun.](https://youtu.be/6q81M5Xd5X8?si=0ZjtIOTVNnKWWfBI)
Two years ago they forbid to sell alcohol, still could get ready or walk around to find somewhere to buy, last year was quite full of people, this year this happens but even if it’s not that, probably would be awful with the amount of current people.
That or being able to go Asakusa anytime and enjoy there was a different level Japan, not gonna lie I’d trade wearing the awful mask again if that means being able to enjoy once again.
Poor Hachiko
> Halloween in Shibuya started out as a peaceful, happy event in the 2010s when revelers gathered in costumes and took photos. The city provided toilets and changing booths for the visitors, and a team of volunteers cleaned up everything on the morning of Nov. 1.
This is what they need to do instead.
Plus close the streets to cars and open them up to revelers to reduce crowding.
Are we going to have this hype in the media about Halloween every year now I wonder?
is this because halloween is a “foreign” celebration or will they be cracking down on hanami street drinkers as well?
Hachiko the caged cuck
