So the new ps5 is coming out and it’s gone from 60,000 to 66,000. Back home in the original ps4 has dropped in price but has anyone seen it still available for below 60,000? (Disk edition)
I saw a bunch in a Costco in Aichi (Moriyama ten). Disk versions at around 55,000¥ I think. That was 2 weeks ago though.

Yeah I think they stopped making em to make way for the new annoyingly more expensive version. I went to my local yamada, nojima and bic camera and they only had disk ver. Bundles with controllers or a game. I did see a few bigger book offs that sold new disk versions though for 55000 not including tax. I’d call around and check before you visit though.
I saw one at my local Book-Off for like 55,000
You can still pick up an original disk version bundled with either Gran Turismo 7 or Horizon Forbidden West for 66,960.
Not cheaper in absolute terms but at least you get a free game.
More important question is why bother getting a PS5 when there are still hardly any proper next gen games to play anyway :D.
Shocking that they launched at ¥49,980 and ¥39,980 and now they cost ¥66,980 and ¥59,980. the yen is nearly dead
