Akamonkai for 2 yrs how were you when you finished?

I’ve been in Akamonkai for 5 months and now i’m working about 20 something hours a week. Im supposed to be entering uni after the whole 2 yr course and i just want to ask people who went how good was yalls japanese after? Im a bit worried on if I can pass N2 at the end of it. And then i’d have to wait another year to enter uni. Just wondering.

  1. I started from zero and finished with N2, almost N1 (though a Russian friend of mine passed N1 by the end – I won’t count Korean or Chinese classmates).

I honestly think it’s a great school, or maybe I lucked out with my teachers. That was almost 7 years ago, now I’m a translator at a big company 🙂

  2. Not sure what uni you’re aiming for, but the qualification for entering an uni as a foreigner usually isn’t JLPT but EJU.

  3. Went for a year and passed N2 after a year then joined a company. It depends on your teachers a lot. There are some great teachers and there are some not so good ones. Luckily I had mostly great ones.

  4. Not sure how intensive it is but should be at least low tier uni level by 18 months if you are doing homework.
