I am attending an artist-in-residence in Sapporo next year as a writer, and I wonder if there are any writer/write-in groups I can join in Sapporo? I am currently doing Nanowrimo, but I don’t think it’s a thing in Japan (or for writers in Japan who write in English). Just thought I should check!

I am the Municipal Liaison for the Japan::Elsewhere Region, which includes Sapporo! We are super active on Discord right now and would be so happy to have you join us!
You wouldn’t know we are super active since aren’t active on the Nanowrimo site or our region forums, but the discord is always popping with activity year-round.
