Coursera sponsored by your employer – how do they count your time?

Hi, basically the title.How does your company count hours spent on Coursera?

To be fully covered, I need to have a certain number of hours counter on Coursera. Naturally, there’s a huge discrepancy between the time on Coursera (expected hours to compete this course) and the time my HR actually counts.

The only information I managed to squeeze outnof them is that they only count the time you actually spent watching a video (tests, readings, etc. not counted). Additionally, the HR shifts this responsibility on Coursera mentioning that they get it from their system.

Anyone else doing Coursera through your employee? How do they count your hours there?
