4 Day Tokyo Itinerary

Hi Guys

My fiancé and I are heading on a cruise around Japan and stopping in Tokyo for four days prior this Autumn. Would love to hear some feedback and thoughts you have about our itinerary and plans.

We enjoy eating local food, learning the history of the places we visit and having a look at unique areas or unique experiences in the countries we visit. We’re not big on shopping.

**Day 1 – Tokyo**

* Arrive in Narita Airport at 7am and head to our hotel in Shinjuku to drop off our bags

* Visit the Shiba cafe and MiPig teacup pig cafe for lunch (they are right next to each other)

* Go to Shibuya and walk around, see the Shibuya crossing and visit Shibuya Sky

* Omoide Yokocho District for dinner

**Day 2 – Tokyo – Full Day**

* Team Labs
* Miraikan – The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation

* Avatar DAWN cafe for lunch

* Walk around Imperial Palace

* Walk around Akihabara at night and have dinner there

**Day 3 – Tokyo – Full Day**

* Visit Edo Wonderland

**Day 4 – Tokyo**

* Senso-ji Temple in the early morning to avoid crowds

* Haute Couture Cafe

* Head to Yokohama to board cruise and leave port at 8pm

  1. I wouldn’t suggest going to any animal cafe here if you care about animal welfare at all. Especially the mipig one, considering… mini pigs aren’t a real thing, they’re underfed normal pigs :/ it’s super sad and unethical. Not sure about the shiba one but I can almost guarantee a majority of regular animal cafe animals here come from factory farms and when they’re too old they get… taken out back to another realm.
