Mid-December 10 day Tokyo itinerary – too many day trips?

This will be my second time visiting Japan (I hit all the major attractions across Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo last year), except this time, I’ll be with a few of my friends that have never been. I do want to show them around Tokyo, but I also wanted to try to fit in some day trips that would be new to me as well. Obviously everyone travels differently, but I was curious if people think this is too much travel outside of Tokyo for a 10-day trip. We’ll be staying in Shinjuku, and here’s what I’ve thrown together so far:

* Arrive around 5PM
* Check into hostel
* Possible: Golden Gai/Omoide Yokocho, clubs
* 12/17 (Sun) – Yokohama Day Trip
* Chinatown
* Gundam Factory
* Yamashita Park, Harbor Park View Observator
* Possible: Cup Noodle Museum
* 12/18 (Mon)
* Imperial Palace
* Senso-ji/Asakusa
* Skytree
* 12/19 (Tue) – Hakone Overnight Trip
* Leave for Hakone in the morning
* Hakone Open Air Museum
* Hakone Ropeway
/Owakudani
* Hakone Shrine
* Check into ryokan
* 12/20 (Wed) – Return to Shinjuku
* Visit anything we didn’t manage to squeeze in the previous day, depart as early/late as needed
* Possible: stop by in Odawara (i.e. Odawara Castle) on the way back
* 12/21 (Thu) – Kawaguchiko Day Trip (can move around based on weather)
* Early morning bus to Kawaguchiko
* May take train based on availability; it seems like bus tickets are selling out a few weeks in advance, but I would like to book bus tickets as late as possible to ensure we go on a clear day
* Fujiyoshida Street View
* Arakurayama Sengen Park
* Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway
* Oishi Park/Lake Kawaguchi
* Evening bus/train back to Shinjuku
* 12/22 (Fri)
* Kamakura/Enoshima day trip
* 12/23 (Sat)
* Tsukiji Outer Market
* Wander around Ginza/Roppongi
* Tokyo Tower
* Tokyo Pub Crawl
* 12/24 (Sun)

I guess my main concern is that Hakone overnight + Kawaguchiko day trip might be a little redundant. I’ve been considering cutting one or the other out. I have been to Kawaguchiko/Fujiyoshida but not to Hakone, so I do have a slight preference between the two. Yokohama seems like a chill enough commute, but combined with Kamakura/Enoshima, we’d be spending about half of our days traveling outside of Tokyo itself. I’m not opposed to rearranging things either, but there’s only so many ways you can spread four day trips across a 10-day itinerary. I was curious if anyone thinks it would be better to trim some of the fat here.
