Buy some decent beef at your local supermarket and do a chopped burger. Bake the buns yourself – I quite like Guga Foods buns recipe. Cast iron pan or an outdoor grill for cooking.
Else, go to a decent butcher for ground beef. [This is my preferred butcher](https://maps.app.goo.gl/XwYip41Esn51ACwr6?g_st=ic), but party due to easy access for me.
Edit: if your local bakery sells burgers (fish, etc.) and you like their buns you can usually order some buns from them in advance.
And by chopped, I don’t mean loose meat but a way to make burger patties when you don’t own a meat grinder.
Buy a burger at Henry’s and try to figure out what they did to make it so good!
I’m more of a down-to-earth burger lover than a fancy pants gourmet burger lover, so don’t crucify me… but you can get decent burger buns in the frozen section at A-Price.
Can’t tell you where to get good mince though. I have a kitchen aid mixer with a mincing attachment, so I just buy cheap blocks of beef with plenty of fat attached and make my own mince.
Buy ground beef, not mixed meat. Make your own hamburger buns(I use this recipe: [https://www.kingarthurbaking.com/recipes/beautiful-burger-buns-recipe](https://www.kingarthurbaking.com/recipes/beautiful-burger-buns-recipe)) buy decent looking lettuce and tomato. Use real cheese, not processed slices.
Cheese and bacon from Costco.
