I need to import a medicine that has to stay cold, so I need it to arrive 3 or 4 days after its shipped. UPS says it could arrive in 1-3 days, but how long would it take to get through customs if I have a Yunyu Kakunin-sho?
This is a difficult question.. really depends on the medicine type, it’s status here, etc. it may not get in at all in man cases.
In person with a yunyukakuninasho is usually instant. Via delivery? Hard to say. Is it a restricted medicine or a large quantity? That will likely take longer to check. I’m sure Google sensei may have some answers about this.
Shipping time sensitive medicine through post is not really recommended. Are you not able to get the medicine here?
Even without customs, international shipping can be delayed for a variety of reasons even if you select the fastest possible options.
So medicine, especially refrigerated medicine, you’re really pushing your luck on that one. No one has any ability to tell you how long a package with refrigerated meds will get through customs and be delivered. There’s so many unique variables.
