Remember that you’ll need reservations for the Ghibli Museum. You cannot buy tickets at the door/gate. Maybe instead of going to Shimokitazawa, spend time in Kichijoji instead: Kichijoji is within walking distance of the Ghibli Museum and is the kind of place Shimokitazawa became famous for being but no longer is.
