Hello! I need a bit of help, I am moving to Tokyo soon and my company wants me to open a bank account asap. To do so I need a local japanese number, but most SIM providers don’t seem to accept foreign credit/debit cards for the monthly payment… I saw that Mobal accepts them but I looked it up here and for long-term stays it’s not really recommended. Any tips/advice? Thanks!

SoftBank works for foreign cc
Can’t you use a company number temporarily? Alternatively you might be able to set up a Japanese number through Skype
Iijmio accepts foreign credit cards considering they accepted mine. Although it requires Japanese to sign up for!
