  1. Is that the one that’s been having delays due to unexplained noises? Hopefully they can fix it quickly!

  2. Oof good to know, thank you. I always get on JY as a default, I’ll have to remember.

  3. I’ll be flying in on the 19th and staying in Shibuya, so that’s handy to know. Thanks!

  4. Oof that’s a big part of the line. I wonder what they’re doing.

Google Maps usually takes things like this into account for those wondering, as the Saiko and Shinjuku lines will be completely packed

  5. Anyone have a suggestion on how to get to the Shinkansen from Shinjuku on Nov 18th in light of this? Nov 18 is our Tokyo -> Kyoto day.

  6. Thanks for calling this out. Much better to know now and plan for it then to try to adapt on the fly!!

  7. Thanks for this, lifesaver. I don’t know if rail line downtimes are common, but is there a good aggregated resource to get up to date info on that stuff?

  8. I’m arriving in two weeks and about to piece together my train/travel info, so thanks for sharing this. I assume there is another train from Haneda Airport to Shinjuku Station?
