  1. Please do not go to an animal café; the animals are kept in poor conditions. They’re continually being shut down despite Japan’s weak animal-welfare laws and enforcement.

You can use a tripod in some places, but they’re prohibited on railway platforms and perhaps in other places, though I’ve never used one, so I do not really know where they might be prohibited. You’ll likely be asked to not use one if you’re in a crowded place (and most of the paces you’ll be going will be crowded).

It’s likely possible to do what you’ve scheduled, but I wouldn’t like to try it because I wouldn’t like not being able to look at the places I’ve gone.

  2. I’m still in my early planning stages for my trip but the only days that seems reasonable is day 2 and day 6. Everything else seems way to packed. Wish you the best of luck!

  3. Tripods generally prohibited in attractions and temples. You’ll see signs stating it. I brought a mini tripod (about 10cm tall) to Disneyland and they cautioned me against using it.

Even if there’s no rule against them, most of the places you have named are very crowded so it’s still good etiquette not to use one, unless you’re out way past midnight when the streets are actually deserted.

  4. What time do you arrive on tokyo on day 1?

    for asakusa tips .
you can avoid going through nakamise st twice.
Take a quick look/photo at kaminarimon .continue on main street to enter sensoji from the side gate (Nitenmon)
take a photo of the main shrine ,Hōzōmon Gate, other place.
Then go back by using nakamise st.
Also can visit sensoji at night 7-9 pm. for a different feeling.

    Day 1 suggestion :
    – forgot ueno park/ameyoko or put ameyoko in night slot.
    – go ham on yodobashi camera/big carema for your shopping :D.
    – if you are not looking for a day view of sensoji +night view of skytree.
try puting sensoji + skytree together they are closed to each other.
also can revisit at shooting spot of both place at night.(no need to enter skytree)

    Day 2 suggestion :
You most likely going in the morning which is
Yamashitapark->gundam or gundam->yamashita then china town for brunch/lunch(they are closed so swapping place to fit your need)
If you are interest in bay area photos try going up Yokohama ferry terminal is ok too.
    Skip red brick if needed.
After noodle museum if it is near sunset time (3-4 pm.) try going to world porter to get a ride at air cabin.
later than that it may be crowded and you will wait a long time queueing instead and get a night view.
End your day at landmark tower to get a 360 nightview of the city.
