I just booked one day of the upcoming sumo tournament in kyushu. Though, it doesn’t say how many hours all matches last together in total. Does anybody approximitely know how much time I have to calculate? It starts at 8:30

Kinda idiotic of me to ask this in this thread but here it goes: early 20s, cs undergrad with one year left to get my masters. I care about money, and not being in a constant race. So a PhD is a bad idea yes, no?
Looked at some data points, and with such numbers I feel like the tech industry is better than spending my energy in academia.
