Japan trip in Feb?

Hello, I have never been to Japan before, but want to go next year and thinking about going in February. I heard the summer is very hot and humid with rain, and the flights to go in either spring or autumn are crazy expensive from my home country, so I’m wondering what are peoples thoughts on late January/early February? I don’t mind the cold either

  1. Your post is waaaay too general, to the risk of it getting removed.

Reword your post, have a look at the posting rules along the sub here describing what should be in the body of the post. Your question gets asked hourly. Be more specific.

Where is Japan.. what do you hope to see .. and so on

  2. February is a great time to visit. The weather is much kinder, travel is cheaper, and generally there’s less tourists.

I was just there in October and I lost so much trip time just sitting on a bench trying to stay conscious because the humidity and heat were destroying me. Never again, winter visits only from now on.

  3. It is snowing in Feb. I would suggest visit a onsen resort town. Highly recommend going to Gero, which accessible from Nagoya
