Students at language school treat studying like their full time job if they are serious about learning the language. If you are working, I don’t think an intensive group class is right for your goals.
Have you thought about private online lessons? That way you can go at your own pace and make the most use out of your time. Maybe 3x a week for 90 min lessons, have the teacher give you homework for the other 2 days. Or just everyday if money is not a concern. Doesn’t even have to be the same teacher each time.
Edit: I did some math last year and the language schools I were looking at ended up being like 1,500 an hour for group lessons with like 15 people in the class.
I’m currently filling in some knowledge gaps at Coto (Tokyo). Doing 2 different courses with them. Classes are well-paced, teachers have been great. They have an evening “after work” class schedule available, and a branch in Yokohama I believe, if that suits you better 👍

I should really start doing this too.
