Hello-
I currently work at a place where the focus is on childcare but from a trauma informed lens; we work with children who experienced a form of abuse, neglect, maltreatment, etc.
I plan on moving to Japan in the future but are there jobs in Japan that focus on similar approaches to childcare?

**Trauma-Informed Childcare Jobs**

You would need native level Japanese.
Yes, those places do exist in Japan. However, those types of jobs would require close to a native level Japanese. In Japan, what are you planning to do? If you would like to work in a nursery or kindergarten, foreign English teachers usually just teach English and interact with the students on a superficial level. Also, keep this in mind. Being trauma-informed in Japan is a touchy subject especially when it comes to children. If I were you, look into behavioral health services and mental health in Japan.
