Hello!
I was wondering if anyone knew where I can find a drink that is like a White Claw or any other hard seltzer that has 0 sugar and 0 carbs. Being from Canada, that was my drink of choice but since living in Japan, I haven’t been able to find something similar. If anyone had any ideas or recommendations on where to look, that would be great, thank you!

We had something similar last year that popped up, but it disappeared within like 6 months or so.
Forget the name of it. But it basically was white claw but a different brand name. Wouldn’t be surprised if it was the same manufacturer.
Takara Shuzo series baby… not as hammering as Zero 9ers and tast superior! 焼酎ハイボール gold cans with the old senbero lower city izakaya pics on them.
There used to be some seltzer brands available, like Fruitzer, Smirnoff Seltzer and Topo Chico. They were out for a year or two and then discontinued. Guess it never really stuck.
If you like whiskey, they have highballs in a can (角ハイボール）. Just whiskey and soda water.
As others have mentioned, chu-hi and such are basically very similar.
God, I miss white claws so much. Everything here either has too much of an alcohol/chemical taste or way too sweet imo. Takara stuff is ok, but it’s still not as good.
Some shops have hard seltzer but not a great variety. Costco sells them by the case at times.
