Hello, all! I’m currently a graduate student studying in Shiga and I’m currently looking for work (graduating September next year). I’ve already applied to a company which will have me start working in spring 2025 if I’m accepted which I hear is normal for Japanese companies (that is, you have to apply long before you actually start the job), but I was wondering about the job postings I see and get recommended for on LinkedIn? Do these generally start as soon as possible or do they follow the same schedule (i.e., I apply now and I start working next year or in 2025)? Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about this?
Thanks in advance!

i believe that the job postings in Linked-In are usually not for new graduates. It is for mid career change and hence and start any time.
what you mentioned is normally for fresh grad, [shūshoku katsudō@shūkatsu](https://www.nippon.com/en/column/g00365/), one year before they graduate. Most on LinkedIn or jobposting site require immediate start or later, definitely not 1 year later.
From my experience, linkedin is not particularly targeting fresh grads but mid careers. Job offers are more in the immediate to 3 or 6 months range (considering that the inverview process also takes easily up more than a month).
