Can you play bloodborne in Japanese with a non-Japanese account?

Or is it completely impossible? Currently in the settings I can change language to another 8 or so, but it doesn’t have Japanese. I was wondering whether I could somehow find a way to change language to Japanese.

What I have found so far is only solutions for people wanting Japanece voice acting, but I am interested in in-game text.

P.S. asking here because it’s likely that people like me are here.

  1. Bloodborne The Old Hunters Edition has japanese audio and japanese subtitles as an option

Edit: [https://www.amazon.com/Bloodborne-Hunters-Japan-Version-PlayStation-4/dp/B015DSR5HE](https://www.amazon.com/Bloodborne-Hunters-Japan-Version-PlayStation-4/dp/B015DSR5HE) like this one, it’s not region blocked so you can play it even if you’re not located in japan

Edit Edit: And after further research, you need to buy the Bloodborne The Old Hunter *Edition* not just the The Old Hunters DLC

  2. Maybe try setting the system language to Japanese? I don’t know how PS5 handle languages, but this is how Switch handles it most of the time.
