Praise for the Kanken (Kanji Kentei)

Now that I get nothing but bragging rights for passing tests, they have actually started to become fun. The Kanken isn’t aimed at foreigners—it’s meant for Japanese people. But the levels for kids aren’t terribly hard.
The guy at Retire Japan seems to like it, too.

  2. I had the kanji kentei game on my DS and it was incredible for improving my kanji reading and writing. I’m sure some app provides identical function now, but in the 00s, the DS game was incredible.
