I’ve found it challenging to connect with women here in Tokyo, both in person and on dating apps, despite feeling confident in my appearance and having had success elsewhere. I’ve been living in the city for nearly a year now and am hoping to find some places where I might have better luck meeting people. Can anyone recommend any popular spots, clubs, or bars that are conducive to socializing? I’m also open to any advice that could help improve my chances.

To some extent you need to be open to approaches. A lot of the women who are open to black guys will make themselves known one way or another. It’s a minority of them but they do exist. Better if you have decent Japanese skills though.

If you can’t land a date you might just be washed bro. Maybe take a step back and focus on yourself a little bit, find a hobby you are passionate about and give it your all.
Women love confidence and guys who are passionate about stuff, it doesn’t even matter what. Also if they are anywhere near 30 you better be in it for more than just kicks.
