Dark circles on the wall. Is it mold?

I have these dark spots on the wall and I’m quite sure it’s mold, but the anti-mold spray I bought is not working at all so now I’m kind of doubting if it’s mold or not. Can anyone verify? The spray I bought is called Kabitori Samurai by the way(カビ取り侍)

  2. Looks like it’s not on the wall, but in the wall. The wallpaper or whatever is under it got wet and is rotting

  3. I’m no expert, but to me the pattern suggests you might have moisture seeping through the wall somehow, with the mold growing on its edges. Otherwise it tends to grow in splotches that are more or less consistent in color and generally expand outward.

  4. Ya it’s mould.

    Any splitting anywhere? It looked like this for a while before had to get buckets. And then the fire alarms wouldn’t stop going off

    So ya call your landlord now.

  5. Notify the landlord/agency asap. If you do not notify any damage promptly, you could in theory be held liable for letting the damage spread when you could have reported it earlier.
