Would like to ask help regarding a potential itinerary for upcoming honeymoon.
We have 9 days in Hokkaido and planning to spend 4-5 days for skiing in Niseko and explore other cities/places dueing the rest of the time.
The main question would be the best way to get around between cities. I was thinking renting a car but not sure it is needed in Niseko for the days when skiing.
Also if you have tips for 2-3 spots to see during the remainder time, that would appreciated. As we are landing in Sapporo, obviously will check out that place.

You are not landing in Sapporo most likely, but Chitose. Think of a triangle, Sapporo, Chitose, and Niseko are in the corners. If you want to come to Sapporo, that’s a day trip at least, more like overnight.
Yes, you need a car in Niseko. How are you getting around otherwise? It’s not a big city, hardly any public transport.
