Co.op supermarket situation

I made a point card for co. op since I go often there to make my shoppings but since that day strange things keep happening.

I thought the registration process was done and a guy came to my door to make me sign more papers and gave me a co.op tissue box as a present, and then asked me if I was married and If I wanted to subscribe to the home mailing service?? Which I said no, and begged for him to leave me alone already.

And today I came back home and there were boxes of co.op piled outside of my home (there wss minced meat, milk and yougurt)
AND I DIDN’T ORDERED ANYTHING!??

WTF is happening idk if they are scamming me or what to be honest the situation is just ridiculous.

I don’t understand a thing hahaah

  1. The seikyos near me have promotions where you sign up for their card and receive some goods as a “gift”. You can choose a toilet paper/tissue set, a fish himono set, yogurt and fresh dairy set, etc. Your “gift” was probably that.

  2. Co-op mail order is their main thing. Cheap and great. The supermarkets themselves (the handful I’ve been to) were very average. I would lean into this and switch to the mail order!

  3. Yeah, I also do the Co-op delivery thing, it’s worth every penny. Not that it’s any more expensive than going to the grocery store.
