Visited the Nomura-ke Samurai Residence in Kanazawa. What a place, the architecture and the way it’s kept feels like you step back in time when you step in.
I took these photos with my Fujifilm GFX 50R, using my own Ultramax 400 fujifilm film simulation/recipe.
Walking through the residence, you get a sense of the samurai way of life. For me the most fascinating part besides the architecture were letters thanking samurai for bringing back heads that were requested by the author of the letters.
